Event Information
GovHack is an annual Open Data competition held across Australia. In 2022 it will be held on the weekend of 19th - 21st August. In 46 hours teams create a project page, proof of concept and a video that tells the story of how government data can be reused.
Attending a GovHack event
GovHack is a free event to attend for competitors. GovHack events are recorded in video, audio and photographic form. By attending, you acknowledge and accept that you may be the subject of such recording and your image may be publicly displayed in connection to the event. We will seek to accommodate but cannot guarantee any specific wish not to be recorded or image displayed.
Venue Information
Infosys Living Lab is a 800 sq. m. co-creation space located near the Southern Cross Station and designed to help accelerate digital innovation in Australia.
Featuring a stadium-style collaboration space amidst graffiti featuring Melbourne’s icons such as Luna Park and Brighton’s bathing boxes, GovHack participants will be able to leverage the state-of-the art to ideate, prototype and test their hacks.
The Infosys living lab will be open for competitors with full facilities (Wi-Fi, Research/Brainstorming Spaces) for the following hours:
• Friday 19 August, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Saturday 20 August, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Sunday 21 August, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
